About Us- The Story Behind S.T.A.R

Everyone knows someone who is struggling with something or someone who needs to know that we are stronger than we think. Our fight and strength can be physical or mental. Whether it’s your friends, your family, or yourself, everyone could use a reminder that you are S.T.A.R. (Stronger than a Rock). The idea hit me one day while I was thinking just how important it is to have a support system and a reminder to get through life’s challenges. I thought of the name, “Stronger Than A Rock” (S.T.A.R.), to encompass my idea of using authentic stones, rocks, and gems to symbolize just how strong we can be, alone or with the support of others. I decided to use my hobby of designing jewelry to create a company that takes cuts of rocks and splits them between friends and family. This way, if you are fighting together, everyone has a piece of the same rock. If you are fighting an internal battle or just need a reminder of how strong and amazing you really are, you can get a customized look with a single stone. I also created a collection based on the connections we have with each other. Those special connections such as friends, significant others, a team, or even a bond with pets are S.T.A.R.  Each piece is handcrafted and made in the U.S.A. I hope you enjoy your S.T.A.R.
